Workshop: Visual Language Through Asemic Writing
On Saturday July 18, 2026, join me for a 90-minute live online creative workshop to step out of overthinking and into instinctive mark making and creative expression. No rules. No technique to master. No pressure to perform. Just tools, medium, paper, movement, and what begins to emerge when you stop editing yourself.
This is your invitation to play, have some fun, and to learn and explore your visual language through intuitive mark making and expression.
This is a space to learn and create without overthinking. We’ll use asemic writing and intuitive mark making to explore what happens when you stop trying to make something “good” and start noticing what naturally appears. This is not about learning technique. It’s about letting your visual language begin to reveal itself.

Hello,
I work with creative expression as a way of noticing what’s already there, before it gets edited, shaped, or overthought. Through intuitive mark making, asemic writing, and simple creative processes, I guide people back into a more instinctive way of creating. This isn’t about learning technique or making “better” art. It’s about giving yourself permission to create without interference and seeing what begins to emerge when you do. To notice what your creativity is already trying to say. I looking forward to having you join me. Cheers, Lynette Melnyk
FAQs:
Q: What if I can’t attend live? A: No problem. You’ll have access to the replay for 3 months after the workshop ends. Q: Why is the replay only available for 3 months? A: This is intentional. These workshops are designed as live creative experiences, not a permanent content library. A defined access window supports participation, integration, and keeps the work active rather than something saved and forgotten. Q: I’m not confident in my creative skills. Is this for me? A: Absolutely. This work is not about skill or artistic ability. It is about expression, noticing, and allowing your natural creative instincts to show up without pressure. You will be guided throughout, and there is no “right” outcome. Q: Will I get feedback or support? A: Yes! This is a live, guided workshop and there will be space for questions and light support during the session. Q: What do I need to bring? A: After enrolling, you’ll receive a simple supply list. You will need basic materials like paper, pens, markers, paint, ink, or mixed media supplies are enough. Use what you already have. Q: Do I need to share my work? A: No. Participation is always optional. You can keep your work private and engage in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. Q: Will this workshop be offered again? A: Possibly, but not in the same way. Each workshop is part of an evolving series, so even if a similar theme returns, the experience itself will shift and expand. Q: What platform will we be using? A: The live workshop is hosted on Zoom. You will also have access to a private Thinkific course page where the replay and materials are hosted. No social media is required. Q: What is the Refund Policy A: All sales are final. Because this is a live, time-based experience with limited replay access, refunds are not available once purchased.
